I rented a convertible Boostang for a week on Kauai, AMA. It has leather and paddles.

The first question I’ll answer is yes, it can kid, as I managed to get two carseats in the back. I figured all the rental stangs were were of the V6 variety, but I kept hearing the sweet, sweet whistlings of a turbo while cruising through the jungle canyons. Pop the hood and sure enough, there’s two alternators in there.

I’ll take a turbo four over a NA V6 all day long. The engine feels good, with no noticeable lag even with the auto trans.

How odd is the steering?

I rented one in Florida with some family over the summer, decent car. The steering was just really weird feeling.

Also, be sure to play with all the different modes that are accessed with the fake toggle switches in front of the shifter.

I haven’t noticed anything yet, but I’ve only driven it in traffic so far. There’s really only one main road here and it just loops across the island. There’s a twisty section that goes past Waimea Canyon amd takee you above the Na Pali coast which I’ll have to wring here out on. I know this sounds weird, but it has bery similar characteristics to my wife’s X1 with the turbo four banger

Pretty good so far. I haven’t got to open her up and I probably won’t since the speed limits are low and the streets are dangerous here. Rides nice, no turbo lag, and makes fun turbo sounds.

I definitely got the “turbocharged car” impression from it. Didn’t drive very Mustang-y that’s for sure.

Definitely. My girlfriend had a manual V6 Mustang in high school and it feels nothing like that. Definitely just feels like a turbo coupe. My bro rented a Fiesta, and I’m thinking it has the 1L turbo in it. Kind of interested to drive it.

Those seem really interesting, I saw the RCR drive of one of them.

Seemed really slow, but pretty efficient.

UPDATE: I have eaten the Twix, both with and without “the process” and I must say I don’t enjoy the taste of caramel by itself tbh. It was decent, but idk if I’d buy it again, I think I prefer Mars bars, but I don’t even eat those really.
